Amanda N. Plank, age 79, of Montezuma, GA passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at her residence.
Visitation was from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Thursday, June 25 in the fellowship hall of Clearview Mennonite Church in Montezuma.
Funeral services were held at 10 AM on Friday, June 26 at Montezuma Mennonite Church with Ministers Donny Swartzentruber, Eli Kauffman and Irvin Yoder officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Plank was born on September 28, 1929 in Kempsville, Virginia to the late Noah W. Yoder and Sadie Schrock Yoder. She was a homemaker and a member of Montezuma Mennonite Church. She was preceded in death by her son, George Plank; daughter and son-in-law, Pauline and John Wagler and 4 grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Isaac J. Plank of Montezuma; her children and their spouses, Verda and Henry Overholt, Jr. of Montezuma, Ruth and Raymond Weaver of Montezuma, Eddie and Becky Plank of Montezuma, Lewis and Mary Plank of Montezuma, Maynard Plank of Myakka City, FL, Irene and Levi Yoder of Montezuma, Bertha and Marvin Yoder of Montezuma, Kathy and Louis Yoder of Montezuma, Marie and Eugene King of Montezuma, Willis and Lorene Plank of Montezuma;48 grandchildren and 66 great grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by her sisters, Freida Yoder of Costa Rica, Sarah Yoder of Montezuma, Lena Swartzentruber of Montezuma; brothers, Clarence Yoder, Allen Yoder of Stark City, MO and Noah Yoder, Jr. of Pratts, VA.
