Allene S. Harvey

March 21, 1931 — February 16, 2012

Allene S. Harvey, age 80, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Cedar Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Truitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Harvey was born March 21, 1931 to the late Charlie and Eva Wright Singletary in Dooly County, Georgia. She was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church and was retired from Southern Frozen Foods as a Payroll Clerk. Ms. Harvey was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harvey and a son, Rodney Harvey.

Ms. Harvey is survived by her son, C.T. Harvey of Vienna, Georgia; three sisters, Betty Newsome of Georgetown, Georgia; Bobbie Hutto of Statesboro, Georgia; and Faye Daniels of Albany, Georgia. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Jason Harvey of Kathleen, Georgia; Keith Harvey of Omaha, Nebraska; Cheryl Harvey of Montezuma, Georgia; and Lauran Thomas of Aiea,Hawaii; and six great-grandchildren; Tyler Harvey of Montezuma, Georgia; Alex Harvey of Kathleen, Georgia; Hanna and Grace Harvey of Omaha, Nebraska; Madison Harvey of Kathleen, Georgia; and Savannah Thomas of Aiea, Hawaii.
