It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Paul Thompson announces his passing on Thursday, May 14, 2020 of last year, at the age of 50 years due to complications from kidney disease.

He passed away in his home in Lebanon, Tennessee, surrounded by his family. Allan was born in Hialeah, Florida to Thomas and Sheila Thompson (both deceased) on January 6, 1970.

He was also predeceased by his wife, Allison Thompson (Gresham), and his mother-in-law, Roberta Gresham. Allan graduated with an associate degree from National American University and worked as a computer tech before blindness prevented him from further pursuing his career. He was a veteran and served in the Air Force during Operation Desert Storm as a Strategic Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. He will always be remembered for his brilliant sense of humor, his generosity, and his unwavering faith as a born-again Christian.

Allan is survived by his children, Randy and Sarah (Junior); grandchild, Emily; siblings, Danielle, Matthew (Erin), Ryan, Jamie (Rob), Michael, and Christopher. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his brother-in-law Anthony, his sister-in-law Andrea, and his nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 2:00 PM EST. His ashes will be interred at the Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery, State Highway 26, Montezuma, GA 31063. His service will be live streamed by going on Watson-Mathews Funeral Home FACEBOOK PAGE.
