Visitation was from 6 to 9 pm, Monday, Dec. 27 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Funeral services were held at 3 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Greater Vision Baptist Church in Americus with Rev. Stacy Penland, Rev. Lucky Barfield and Rev. Troy Fripp officiating. Burial followed in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oglethorpe, GA.
Virginia was born on February 27, 1929 in Oglethorpe, GA to the late Alfred Felker and Ruthy Cromer Felker. She was retired from Southern Frozen Foods and a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by three brothers andthree sisters. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Joe F. Wisham of which she adored and cherished always; one son, Randall Joe (Leverne) Wisham; two daughters anda son-in-law, Sandra Kay (Glen) Pickle and Adrant Charlene Greene; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Randall (Ashleigh) Wisham, Thomas "Tommy" Frederick Smith III, Bridgett Meghan Pickle, Tristee Brooklyn Pickle, Tiffany Danielle (Will) Wise, Heather Marie Pickle and Boyfriend - Chad Salter; 7 great grandchildren, Tiffany Michelle Wisham, Payton Renay W. Sham, Caleb Joseph Wisham, John Marshall Hough, Thomas Frederick Smith IV, Gavin Andrew Wise, Braxton Kye Salter.; brother and sister-in-law, Samuel John (Beulah) Felker; sister and brother-in-law, Alfreda (Aubrey) Barfield.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of arrangements.
