A native of Macon County, Adelle was born July 28, 1930 to the late Ralph Price Sr. and Jenny Fowler Price. She was a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center and she loved music and singing.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Todd Shearin officiating the service.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, Georgia.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her three children: Betty C. Woodruff (Herman) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Gaye C. Felker( Larry) of Augusta, Georgia and Ernest Mark Crook (Alisa) of Lafayette, Georgia;six siblings: Ralph Price Jr., (Viola) of Montezuma, Georgia, Mike Price (Pam) of Montezuma, Georgia, Marzelle Peaster of Perry, Georgia, Christine Beamon (Jack) of Smithville, Georgia, Cleo Price of Americus, Georgia and Burl Price of Columbus, Georgia. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Paul Woodruff, Paula Layfield (Greg), Amy Reddick (Cody), Rebecca Nalley (J.J), Renay Scott (Justin) and Whitney Beyer (Josh) and ten great-grandchildren: Austin Woodruff, Garrett Layfield, Brian Starley, Beth Starley, Jacob and Hannah Starley, Kayleigh Nalley, McKenzie Nalley, Autumn Nalley and T.J. Nalley and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Ernest Crook and four siblings: Janelle Payne, Ernest Price, Billy Price and Elsie Chambley.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Hospice Care Options, 306 North Davis Drive, Suite C, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
